Walking from the train station to the Gîte des Capucins:

Walk out of the train station and turn left onto the road and continue. Cross at the first set of lights and turn left at the next road, the main street into the centre of town called Boulevard Mal. Fayolle. Continue on the left hand side of the street until you reach the Rue des Capucins. Turn left and walk up the hill 200 metres and you will see a large lit sign signifying the Gîte des Capucins at Number 29 on the left hand side of the street.

Arriving by car:

Driving from the direction of Lyon-St Etienne-Annonay (RN 88)/ Loire Valley:

Drive through the suburb of Chadrac and follow the signs which point to the "centre ville" (town centre). Pass through the centre of town (on your left you will see La Place du Breuil) Follow the Boulevard St Louis till you reach the statue of Lafayette. On your left, between the bar and the pharmacy, take the Rue Ronzon in the direction of "centre des impôt, inspection académique". Take the first road to your left, Rue A. Terrasson and then a little later you will see the Gîte des Capucins on the right hand side.

Driving from the direction of Aubenas-Mende-Montélimar-Nimes (RN 88):

Drive down the route RN 88 till the roundabout. Go left and take the direction "Vals prés le Puy". At the next roundabout next to MacDonalds and Géant, go right on to Avenue Charles Massot. Turn right when you are facing the town hall of Vals prés Le Puy and continue straight ahead. Turn left onto rue de l'ecole normale before the railway bridge. Cross the railway track and continue straight ahead onto rue Lashermes and then turn left and then right onto rue Latour-Maubourg. You will see the Gîte des Capucins on your left.

Driving from the direction of Clermont-Ferrand, Vichy, Aurillac, Thiers (RN 120):

Drive down from the RN 120 till the Boulevard A. Chantemesse and climb the Boulevard Carnot till the Statue of Lafayette. Turn right onto the road rue Ronzon between the bar and the pharmacy in the direction of "Centre des impots, inspection académique". Take the first road on your left, rue A. Terrasson and in a short while you will see the Gîte des Capucins on your right.

Driving from the direction of St Flour-Loudes-Langeac / Saugues:

After passing through Espaly, you will arrive on the Boulevard Gambetta. At the beginning of the railway tracks, turn onto the Rue Ronzon in the direction of "centre des impôts, inspection académique" and turn left at the next road, Rue A. Terrasson. On your right, you will see the Gîte des Capucins.
